Review Policy

I’m new to book blogging, but after reading some very informative posts on Parajunkee’s Blog, one of my favorite book blogs ever, I decided to add a review policy.

I accept a limited amount of review copies in the following genres: YA (all subgenres, but preferably horror, ghost stories, fantasy, paranormal romance and thrillers), horror, thrillers and mystery novels. I occassionally read romance as well, but the romance can’t be the main plot – if it’s a subplot that’s great, but I want the book to focus on something besides the romance as well.

I also accept MG novels, but they must have an element of fantasy in them.

If you’d like me to review your book, please reply here. If interested, I’ll get back to you.

I prefer hardcover or paperback copies, but accept a small amount of .pdf copies for review as well.

  1. Hi Mira –

Thanks again for your wonderful review of Sunbolt. I was wondering if you would be willing to cross-post your review to GoodReads, Amazon, and/or B&N. As an indie author, reviews both on blogs and at reader / retail sites, make a huge difference in helping people evaluate whether or not to take a chance on me. I do understand if you prefer not to (I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask!). Thanks!

  2. Congratulations on the website. I wondered if you’d be interested in reading/reviewing my debut novel Sentinel?

It’s a dark young adult fantasy set in Cambridge, and the first in a trilogy. Sentinel recently became a #1 bestseller on Amazon, where it’s currently available in eBook format (you can check out a sample at http://viewBook.at/B00CLGNFJE).

    Thanks for your time.
    Best,
    Joshua

  3. Hi Mira!

I’m Anastasia, the author of “Cleanse Fire”. You wrote a lovely review of my book on GoodReads and your blog back in May. I was messaging you to ask if you wouldn’t mind also posting the review to Amazon and/or Barnes&Noble? I included the links below for you so you can get to the book’s page easily.

If you don’t wish to cross post, that is absolutely fine. I thought I’d ask, just in case. Thank you and thanks again so much for the lovely review.

    Blessings,
    Anastasia V. Pergakis

    Hi Mira,
Thank you for reading and reviewing my novel, A DEAD END IN VEGAS. Your perceptions of the book were very positive. It made me happy to see that you picked up on the fact that the book is about friendship, loyalty, and trust instead of its sadder, more negative aspects. It was a pleasure to see the review on your lovely blog. If possible, could you post it on Goodreads also? It’s a recently published book–and reviews really help! This is the link:

Thanks again, and continued success with your reading and reviewing!
