I’m interviewing Leila Lacey, the author of contemporary romance “Phoenix Rising”. Enjoy the interview!

Are you a plotter or a pantser?

Well I am a little bit of both. I outline to start out, I make sure that I am clear on the characters relationships and personalities. Then once I start, depending on how I am feeling the story or plot can go completely left of what I thought out in the original “outline”.

Where did you get the inspiration for Phoenix Rising?

Actually Phoenix Rising is book 3 of a 5 book series. The Curvy Goddess Series is my tribute to the, BBW that is successful, strong, happy, and fierce. Curvy women get no credit for being a sexual force to be reckoned with in today’s society and I write to portray those women in a light of smarts, strengthen and a sister bond that most women have a hard time maintaining in “real life” but it does happen.

Is this a series?

Yes. The Curvy Goddess Series
