Book Cover-KDPTitle: Sins of the Fallen

Genre: YA Fantasy

Rating: 8/10

When seventeen-year-old Maximillion Taylor and his best friend, Jones go to a house party, he doesn’t expect to get kidnapped—much less by a succubus—and she’s not the only one on the hunt. Thrown into a world of angels and demons, where nothing and no one is what they seem, Max ventures to find his true identity and learn to fight the demons who pursue him. When his origin is revealed, it’s a race against the clock for a battle that will determine whether he can protect the ones he loves or succumb to his true nature. Through lies, betrayal, love and pain, Max must prepare to face the demons before it is too late…

At a party, Max’s life gets turned completely upside down. He gets kidnapped by a succubus who is apparently holding him hostage for someone else, he discovers there’s a whole world out there filled with demons, angels, and every possible supernatural creature you can think of. His best friend turns out to be an angel, and his Dad is one as well. The girl he feels interested in, is his best friend’s girlfriend – and has been for the past century. And worst of all, he has some powers of his own, terrible powers he can’t always control.

A great book for fans of paranormal romance or fantasy novels. There’s no epic love, but instead Max acts like a typical boy, interested in several girls. I liked that, it made him feel more real. I’ve never really bought the whole epic love when you’re only sixteen stuff.

There’s a lot of action and suspense, and more than one secret that comes to the surface.
