Book Excerpt from Hunted Heiress

Today I’m featuring a snippet from a romance novella filled with action and adventure, “Hunted Heiress”. The snippet is short, but fun! Enjoy!

Book Excerpt

As the sun, was waning in the afternoon sky, the ex-captor continued on his journey. Soon he came upon the trail head – the end of his trek. He continued past the mini-monument and onto a paved road. Following this in about half an hour he came upon a small dreamy town. Checking his phone, he noted his battery had nearly run out.

Pushing his luck he turned on the services to see if he had a signal to make the important call. Unfortunately there was still no signal. Looking up from his disappointment, he scanned for a place of business that might have a pay phone – he was in luck, there was a diner a few blocks down. Pocketing the device he took his last few steps to the diner, and in through the doors he went.
